Part 2

Hi everyone! Welcome to the second part of our analysis on the cartoons made by Liza Donnelly on the gender inequalities. In this part we go on with an another cartoon.
Cartoon 2
In this cartoon there is a major difference with the first one. In the first one the main focus was on the girls and women, to generalize females, and how females are seen by the society, In this one Liza Donnelly focuses more on the male figure and how it is represented by the society and how they are seen like in the first one. Here, we see two girls playing a game as said in the dialogue they are animating the Supreme Court. A little explanation for the ones who have not heard of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court is the place with the highest degree of right to judge both the government and the folk. So, it is the place that hast the most right to judge. As I told, the girls are animating the Supreme Court and stating that "all the men are dead or retiring". Here, there may be two reasons for the death and the retirement of the men. The first one is, it is because the men are the only ones that are guilty in the society so that they are sentenced to dead and the rest escaped by retiring. The second idea is since the ones who animate the court are girls, the men could not stand more to their actions and as a result they died or they retired. So, in the first idea, the men are seemed by the society as the ones who are creating the problems and making the country go wrong in terms of the development and lead astray. In the second idea, the girls are the ones who are creating the problems so that they cause the men's death or their retirement since the men can no longer resist to the behaviour and decisions of the women as a result they die or retire leaving the court decapitating it for the control of the girls.
